Ace Eddins

Ace Eddins, 83, of Monteview, Idaho passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 in Rexburg, Idaho at the Carriage Cove Care Center.

Ace was born December 20, 1938 in LaBelle, Idaho, the son of Lonn Erwin Eddins and Mabel Elnora Williams Eddins.  He attended school until the 8 th grade. He then started his life long profession of farming and ranching. He married Shirley Andersen. They later divorced.

Ace has farmed and ranched in the Monteview area for most of his life. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His hobbies were hunting, fishing and square dancing.

Ace is survived by his children; Mary Lynn (Kevin) Flanary of Rexburg, ID, Craig Eddins of Rexburg, ID, Paul (JoAnn) Eddins of Rexburg, ID and a brother, Brad (Annette) Eddins of Dubois, ID. He has thirteen grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren.

Ace was preceded in death by his parents; Lonn and Mabel Eddins. A son, Jamie Eddins. Sisters, Shirlene Summers and Barbara Smith and a grandson, Casey Eddins.

A funeral will be held for Ace on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 West Main Street, Rigby, ID 83442). The family will receive friends at Eckersell’s prior to services from 9:30 to 10:45 AM. The interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery following the services.
