Albert Randal Furrows, age 44, died, Monday, September 15, 2003, near Rigby from injuries received in an automobile accident.
Randy was born September 19, 1958, at Idaho Falls, Idaho a son of Albert Richard and Jeannine Gloria Watts Furrrows. He attended schools in Roberts and Rigby graduating from Rigby High School. He received his associates degree from Ricks College and his Engineering degree in Design and Drafting from BYU.
Randy married Mary Jo Field December, 27, 1985 in Logan, Utah LDS Temple.
Randy was currently serving as first counselor in the Rigby 7th Ward Bishopric. He has held many church callings and various community responsibilities. He served a mission for the LDS Church in the Eastern Provinces of Canada. Randy’s skills at gardening and all tasks were always meticulous and done with great care. He loved spending time with his family, boating, camping, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling and was a very compassionate man that loved serving his family and sharing life with them. His wonderful example will continue to teach and guide his children even though his presence is gone. He will be greatly missed by the many friends, family and associates that loved him.

His wife Mary Jo Furrows, 3 daughters, JoDeeann, Sheena Louise and Aubree Jo and 2 sons, Andrew Randal and Albert Rusten all of Rigby. His parents Albert Richard and Jeannine Gloria Furrows of Roberts, 2 sisters Gloria Jean (Dennis) Trate of Layton, Utah and Christina Louise (Kevin) Clayton of San Ramon, California and 2 brothers Gregory Thomas (Sharilee)Furrows of Rexburg and Alan Richard (Andrea) Furrows of Idaho Falls.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 19, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. in the Rigby LDS Stake Center with Bishop Mike Maloney officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday night from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Eckersell Memorial Chapel and on Friday at the Stake Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Burial will be in the Burton Cemetery under Eckersell’s direction.
There has been a memorial trust fund established at the Westmark Credit Union for the Furrow's family in Randy Furrows Name. Contributions may be made at Westmark Credit Union 150 North State, Rigby, Idaho 83442 or at any Westmark Credit Union.
