Alejandra Reyes Lords

November 5, 1963 — August 25, 2020

Alejandra Reyes Lords was born on November 5th, 1963 in El Paso, Texas to Leonor Rocillo and Santiago Reyes. Alejandra, otherwise known as Alex, passed away the morning of August 25, 2020 at the age of 56 from natural causes. Alejandra was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, wife, and church member.

Alejandra R. Lords grew up in Canutillo, Texas; a small town on the outskirts of El Paso. After graduating from Canutillo High School, she attended college at Ricks College located in Rexburg, Idaho where she met her best friend and soon-to-be husband, Arlin J. Lords. Alejandra and Arlin were married on October 25, 1985, and one year later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple for eternity on October 25, 1986. Together, they blessed with 8 children; 6 daughters and 2 sons. Alejandra will be remembered for being a kind, loving, and big-hearted person. She particularly was always willing to take care of others before herself. Her door was always open to those that needed help, a roof, or a mother. Without fail, Alejandra was ready to open her home, heart, and arms to anyone who desired it.

Throughout her life, some of her favorite hobbies were gardening, genealogy, crocheting, scrapbooking, spending time with her family, playing with her grandchildren, taking pictures, cooking, and being an active member in the LDS church and community.

Alejandra R. Lords is survived by her husband, best friend, and the love of her life Arlin J. Lords. By her oldest daughter Gabrina (son-in-law Wrex); her twin sons David and Daniel (daughter-in-law Janelle); her middle daughters Jessica, Rebecca (son-in-law Charles), and Lydia; and her youngest twin daughters Alicia and Felicia.

Alejandra will also be remembered as a loving and fun grandmother; she is survived by her grandsons Tevin, Corbin, Deklan, Avery, and her granddaughter Hailey.

Aside from being a mother, grandmother, and wife, Alejandra was a daughter and sister to many.

She is also be survived by her caring father Santiago Reyes, and her siblings Santiago Jr., Luis, Mariah, Felipe, Jaime, and Rosalinda. Alejandra wanted the best for her family and always tried to see the good in people.

Forever and always she will be remembered as a best friend, lover, and supporter to her husband Arlin, and to her children she will be remembered as a nurturer, proud sponsor, cheerleader, mother, and a friend. We love and miss you, mom. Until we see you again.
