Allen Roy Swanson

Allen Roy Swanson age 60, of Rigby, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024.  He was born July 23, 1963 in Idaho Falls, the son of LeRoy Dean Swanson and Carol LaVon Rose. He was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and attended Wyoming Tech.

Allen married Monica Marsing in Humphry, Idaho on July 21, 2007.  He worked for Home Depot as a construction salesman in Idaho Falls. He has lived throughout South East Idaho, namely, Rigby, Salmon, Dubois, Hamer, Mud Lake, Idaho Falls, and Bone. He has been a member of the West Jefferson Rodeo Team, and EIRA Rodeo Association. He loves rodeos, hunting, fishing, and woodworking.

Allen is survived by his wife, Monica Swanson of Salmon, Idaho. A daughter, Nicholia Rose Swanson of Salmon, Idaho. Two sisters; Karrie (Doyle) Allen of Rigby, Idaho and Alma (Erving) Hanson of Idaho Falls, Idaho. A brother, David (Julie) Swanson of Salmon, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Carol Swanson.

A service is being planned for a later date at the family ranch in Humphrey.
