Anita Alice Desatoff, 86 of Rigby, passed away at her home Sunday, April 23, 2017.
Anita was born April 15, 1931 in Huntington Park, California to Claude Charles Faught and Bonnie Bell Leah Bowie Faught. She was raised and attended schools in Huntington Park, California; graduating from Bell High School in Bell, California.
Anita was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a mission to Dallas Fort Worth, Texas, a church service mission in real estate to Salt Lake City, Utah, a Spanish speaking mission to the North Salt Lake City Mission, as well as a mission to the Salt Lake County Prisons where she taught the 12 Step Program. Anita worked as a Real Estate Investor. She was an avid sports fan of the L.A. Lakers and USC Trojan Football Team.
She is survived by her daughters, Denise Lorene Desatoff, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Lisa Ann (Stephen) Wible of Rigby, Idaho; and son, Daniel Peter (Mariah) Desatoff, of Park City, Utah; brother, Robert Faught of California, 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, David Peter Desatoff and a brother, Charles Claude Faught.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the LaBelle 2nd Ward LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
