Anita “Tiny” Edelmayer, 54, of Roberts, Idaho died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of complications due to C.O.P.D.
She was born December 3, 1956 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to James & Zelma Edelmayer of Roberts. She was raised and attended schools in the Roberts area. She was the second child of four children and was blessed with three children of her own T.J. Eichelberger, Brent Edelmayer, and Jordan Edelmayer all of Roberts, Idaho.
Anita enjoyed camping, fishing, and going for long walks with her children & dogs. She enjoyed doing crafts and was very artistic. She was able to do everything from flower arranging to painting/drawing to jewelry making. The artistic talent came through in her cooking skills also-she was an accomplished cook. Her true passion was being a parent. She would do anything for her sons. She spent many hours with them. She loved just sitting and listening to music with her youngest son, Jordan.
The thing “Tiny” will be most remembered for is helping others. She loved to make others smile. People will remember her as a good and loving person who was willing to do anything to help them. She loved and was devoted to her family and friends.
Anita is survived by her mother, Zelma Edelmayer. Her brothers & sisters Carl (Julie) Edelmayer of Grant, Idaho, Tom (Kim) Edelmayer of Rexburg, Idaho and Kayleen (Matt) Mann of Ririe, Idaho, Her sons TJ Eichelberger and Jordan Edelmayer.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Delbert & Leora Lamb of Roberts, her father, James Edelmayer of Roberts, and her son, Brent Edelmayer of Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main St., Rigby. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Wednesday prior to services, both at the funeral home.
