Ann Jeannette Eileen Curtis, age 70, of Rigby, died at Rigby Country Living, Tuesday, September 25, 2007.
She was born March 15, 1937, at Bradford, England, a daughter of Harold Newsham and Ann Pape Newsham. She grew up and attended schools in Bradford, England and Graduated from high school there.
September 25, 1957, she married Lyman Eugene Curtis in Wellingborough, Northampton England. They were later divorced. For several years she worked as a nurse at Riverview Hospital.
Ann was a member of the LDS Church. She loved dancing and was a member of the Alhambra Dance Company in England, in her younger years she participated in and won beauty contests.
She is survived by three daughters; Tammy Lee, of Idaho Falls, Sandra (Boyd) Galbraith of Rigby, Barbara Hayes, of Idaho Falls, a sister Barbara Eugh of England, a brother; Tony Newsham, of England, thirteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 28, 2007 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, Gary Campbell, officiating. The family will visit with friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
