Our mother Anna May Lueders Peterson was called home by Heavenly Father to be reunited with her parents, sister Judy and daughter Dawn after a long battle with cancer. She was living at Rigby Lake Assisted Living Center in Rigby, Idaho. We would like to thank the center for the wonderful care given to her there. They made her time comfortable and happy. Madison Memorial Cancer Center was extremely caring and supportive of her wishes for the quality not quantity life.
Anna had five siblings; Glen (Sue) Lueders of East Wenatchee, WA, Janice Seegrist-Martin of Heyburn, ID, Linda Mullinix of Burley, ID, and Karen Lebrecht of Nampa, ID, and lastly, Judith Lueders.
Anna was born June 7, 1940 to Esther Anna Meyer and Martin Willhelm Lueders in Eden, Idaho where she grew up and went to school.
Our mother loved to crochet for others. She donated a lot to the local Ronald McDonald House. She was a voracious reader, did crossword and word searches to keep her mind sharp. She liked rock hounding before her mobility decline. She especially loved being outside the last years under “her tree” on “her bench”. She was almost always ready to play a game of Canasta or Train Dominos with us under the tree. She loved helping to prep the food for canning and or dinners, “it gives me pleasure to do it”.
Anna was mom to three daughters; MartyAnn (Brian) Juenke, Esther Jo (Thomas) Mims-Di Quarto and Dawn Marie Ames. She was grandma to six grandkids; Adria (Jeremy) Gamble, Amiee Scharosch, Anna Juenke, ElizaMarie TruAnn Mims, Dustin Ames, and Asher Ames. Great-gran to two; Richard and Synova Scharosch.
Mother has requested no funeral services or viewing. A family memorial will be organized at a later date. If you want to do something in remembrance of her, please donate to Huntsman Cancer Center or local charity.
We love you mom, may your adventure in Heaven bring you happiness. I’m sure Grandma, Aunt Judy and Dawn are welcoming you well. Until we meet again, May God be with us all. Loves and Hugs.
