Arba Huffaker, 75, of Idaho Falls, formerly of Menan, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Good Samaritan Care Center in Idaho Falls.
She was born December 14, 1937, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Allen Cromwell Huffaker and Sarah Theressa Merrill Huffaker.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a visiting teacher for many years. She received her endowments in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple and did a great deal of temple work. She loved to embroidery and has made many works of art. She also loved to take photos and has many albums full of pictures of her family and friends.
She is survived by her sisters, Beth (Fred) Wald, of SLC, Utah, Gay (Lester) Clark, of Menan, Patricia (Ross) McMullen, of Wendell, North Carolina, Deana Turman, of Missoula, Montana, brother, Robert (Karen) Huffaker, of Menan, and sister-in-law Laura Huffaker, of Rigby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Lynn Huffaker, and Merrill Huffaker.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday February 16, 2013, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby with Bishop Roger Clark, conducting. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Ucon cemetery under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family extends their appreciation to the staff at Arrow Point Assisted Living Center and Good Samaritan Care Center for their kind and loving care.
