Aubrey J. McNeece, 92 of American Falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Sunday, March 18, 2018, at his home.Aubrey was born March 5, 1926, in Braxton, Mississippi to Ethal McNeece and Nola May Lewis McNeece. He was raised and attended schools in Braxton.  At the age of 15, he started working on the family farm full time.  He joined the US Navy on his 18th birthday, he served during WWII, overseas and was honorably discharged.  Following his service, Aubrey worked for the power company, and in the logging industry.  He moved to Paris, Texas where he worked on various dairy farms and as a security guard.  He then worked for Campbell’s Soup until he retired. Aubrey married Ruth Rushing and in 1975 she passed away. He met Lola Baron while she was serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was at that time that Aubrey was baptized as a member of the church; he served in the Sunday School program.    On March 9, 1985, he and Lola Baron married in the Dallas, Texas, LDS Temple.  Following their marriage, they made their home in Rigby, Idaho, and later moved to American Falls. Aubrey enjoyed reading and watching movies.He is survived by his wife, Lola McNeece, of American Falls, Idaho. His daughter, Betty (Reynold) Hinojosa of Mississippi, sons, George (Linda) McNeece, of Texas, Johnny McNeece, Mark McNeece, and Charlie McNeece, all of Mississippi.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Rushing McNeece, daughters, Diane and Wanda and a son, James.Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:50 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
