Audrey Cummins, 86, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones at her home on September 30, 2023.

She was born on November 22, 1936 to Doris and Norman Lister in Durham, England.

Audrey married John Cummins in 1958 in Long Island, New York. Their union brought four children: Audrey, John, Barry and Martin. He passed away. She later married Ford Nelson in August 1978 in St. Anthony.

During her life, Audrey worked for Basic American Foods as a factory worker.

Audrey is preceded by her husband, Ford; and her parents Doris and Norman Lister. She is survived by her children Audrey (Rosalio “JR”) Vargas of San Jose CA, John M Cummins II of Idaho Falls ID, Barry J. Cummins of Modesto CA, and Martin J. (Debbie) Cummins of Rigby ID; a sister Pauline Lee of Durham England; brothers Norman (Doris) Lister of Durham England and Wilfred Lister of Durham England; Audrey has 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Audrey will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Eckersell Funeral Home (101 W Main St Rigby ID 83442). A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. (noon)- 12:45 p.m. Inurnment will be at the Teton-Newdale Cemetery at a later date.
