Barbara Ann Kamlah Roundy, 79, of Monteview, died October 16, 2009, at her home, of natural causes.
She was born October 13, 1930, in Atlanta, Georgia to Albert Friedrich Kamlah and Violet Louise Cope Kamlah. After high school, she attended BYU. On July 7, 1951, she married Heber Roundy, in the St. George LDS Temple. She was a homemaker, and work many jobs associated with agriculture, she also drove school bus in West Jefferson for 29 years. Throughout her adult life she has lived in New Jersey, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and Idaho.
Barbara was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she loved to sew, cook, gardening and travel.
She is survived by her husband, Heber Roundy, of Monteview, a brother, Albert F. Kamlah, of Gainesville, Florida, 5 sons, and 5 daughters; Craig D. Roundy, of Arizona, Leann Knudson, of Nevada, Guy A. Roundy, of Monteview, Dorcas Holm, of Utah, William Bryson Roundy, of Utah, Barbara Ann Johnson, of Colorado, Kamlah Roundy, of Monteview, Blanche Cox, of Utah, Benjamin Cope Roundy, of Monteview, Ruth Fisher, of Monteview, 117 grandchildren and 59 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Orrin William Roundy, and her sister, Alma Rhodes.
A funeral service was held on October 16, 2009, in Monteview, Idaho, at 7:30 p.m.
