Beatrice Liljenquist Hall, age 97 of Rigby, died in her home Tuesday, August 28, 2007.
Beatrice was born June 18, 1910, at Rexburg, a daughter of Otto Erastus Liljenquist and Ivy May Allen Liljenquist.
Beatrice was raised in the Rexburg area; she attended Adams and Jefferson Elementary as well as well as Madison High School. October 12, 1931 she married Gerald Lester Hall, in Salt Lake City; their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls, LDS temple, March 2, 1965. Beatrice managed the Frock Shop in Rigby for 1 ½ years, and worked at Broulim’s Grocery Store in Rigby for 11 years. Beatrice was a member of the LDS church and had many callings; she was also an active member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
Beatrice Loved music and sang in choruses and duets through out the years, she was an avid sports fan and enjoyed reading, collecting golden thoughts and sayings, crocheting, fishing, sewing, gardening, travel, doing puzzles and playing cards.
Beatrice is survived by two daughters, Shirley Piquet and Joyce Bowles both of Rigby, a brother, Vern (Marge) Liljenquist, of Rexburg, 15 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 39 great great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter Beverly, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2007 at the Rigby 12th Ward LDS Chapel, Bishop Brett Olaveson, officiating. The family will meet with friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Saturday, prior to services at the Church. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby.
