Belle Meldrum Fasbender, age 81, of Ammon, died at her home August 1, 2007.
Belle was born September 17, 1925 at Orem, Utah, a daughter of Calvin Ray Meldrum and Mildred Patten Meldrum. Belle was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was raised in the Vale Oregon area and graduated from Vale Union High School. She continued her education at Kinman Business University in Spokane, Washington, Texas Southmost College in Brownsville, Texas, and Pan American University in McAllen Texas. December 9, 1946 she married Gerald Dean Fasbender in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple. She had a great love for music and was involved in music wherever she lived.
Belle is survived by her husband Gerald, two sons, Jim Wayne Fasbender of Rigby and Mark Alan Fasbender of Salt Lake City, Utah, one brother Donald K. Meldrum of Ontario, Oregon and three grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 6, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ammon 16th ward Chapel, Bishop Scott Noble, officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be in the Rosedale Memorial Cemetery in Payette, Idaho on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.
