Belva Eldredge, age 90, of Lyman died November 1, 2007. She was born February 18, 1917 at Lyman, a daughter of William Henry Freeman and Hazel Jane Jacobs Freeman. She was raised in the Lyman area and attended Cedar Point School. July 16, 1939 she married Dell Boden Eldredge in Yuma Arizona. March 15, 1990 their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They moved to California where she worked for Pittsburg Erie. In 1975 she moved to Idaho where she worked for First Security Bank in Rexburg.
Belva was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an officiator at the Idaho Falls Temple. She enjoyed craft shows, knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by a sister, Mila Jean Sommers, of Rigby. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters; Naomi, Thelma and Shirley and three brothers; Bud, Keith, and Paul.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2007 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will visit with friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Monday, before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Cemetery.
