Berneice Jensen Cherry, age 93, passed away peacefully at her home on December 29, 2025, at her residence in Rigby, Idaho.

Berneice was born on June 17, 1932, in Dubois, Idaho, to Conrad Jensen and Elsa Violet Rottweiler Jensen. She graduated from Clark County High School on May 18, 1951.

She was married to Howard Lee Cherry and spent much of her life working on the family farm, cooking and also at the potato warehouse. Over the years, Berneice lived in Mud Lake, Hamer, Declo, Winnemucca, Nevada, Lewiston, and Rigby, Idaho.

Berneice was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting, needlework, and especially spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Corinne Mae Cherry Browning of Seward Alaska; her son, Lee J. Cherry of Meridian, Idaho; and her sister, Dorris McFarland of Rigby, Idaho.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at  Eckersell Funeral Home. Interment will be at Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
