Bertha Anna Mackenzie

Bertha Anna Jenkins Robison Mackenzie, 97, of Rigby, passed away March 3, 2012 of cause’s incident of age. She was born December 2, 1914 in Vernal, Utah to Joseph Jenkins and Hannah Cook Jenkins. On November 25, 1933 she married Thomas Robinson. They were blessed with three children. Tom passed away June 1, 1954. She later married Kenneth Mackenzie and they were married 50 years. Bertha was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked in the potato processing industry, at the creamery, and in the dry cleaning business. She is survived by her daughter Iris (Ben) Layton, of Lorenzo, son, Aldon (Kay) Robinson, of Texas, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 11 siblings, both husbands and infant daughter, Donna Faye. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. Family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m., prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
