Beth Marlie Edgerton

Beth Marlie Edgerton – (11/14/1959  - 10/27/2024  ) Beth Edgerton passed peacefully in  loving hospice care in Rigby, ID.  She was the daughter of Leon and Marjorie (Allport) Edgerton was born November 14, 1959, in Bennington, Vermont.  She spent her childhood in the peaceful surroundings of Dorset, Vermont on the family farm.  Beth graduated from the University of Vermont in Burlington with a BA in Art Education degree.  She was talented in a wide spectrum of art media, spanning painting to a diverse range of needlework, often winning awards to various art competitions.  She gifted her many artworks to diverse group of dear friends. When New England winters grew too harsh for her, she moved to New Bern, North Carolina for many years to continue her art passion.

In later years she moved out in Idaho to be near her brothers.  She volunteered many enjoyable hours at the Humanitarian Center in Idaho Falls, where she had many friends. Despite life-long health struggles, Beth kept a positive attitude and sense of humor.  She had a life-long, fervent love of God.  She finally is at Peace her Spiritual Father!

Beth leaves many dear friends whom she enjoyed times together.  She leaves her brothers – Brian and his wife Deborah (Pond) Edgerton in Idaho Falls, Idaho; Brent and his wife Kathy (Lapranne) of Cornish, New Hampshire; and Blair and his wife Megan (Jones) of Hailey, Idaho.
