Betty Lou Clark was born November 5, 1925 in Lyman Idaho to George David Robison and Marilla Simpson Robison. She attended school at Cedar Point through the eight grade. And then Madison High School. After graduation, she married William Ben Clark on August 11, 1943. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple May 20, 1970. They lived in Independence Burton area. They have one daughter Linda Lou. They were best friends and companions. They did everything together until his passing August 23, 2010. Betty was a farmer, rancher, carpenter, seamstress, artis and poet.
Betty was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many positions in the church. Her favorite was singing in the choir. She had a beautiful singing voice, and she was singing all the time in the field the yard the shop the house or the car she was always singing. She loved the Lord and our Saviour. She taught our family to love the Lord and have faith in Him. She loved her family, her neighbors and friends. She was always of service to everyone even strangers if they needed help she was there.
For many years Betty made crocheted Baby hats booties dresses ect and made Baby quilts and Lap quilts that she gave to the church, hospital, fire department and Primary Children’s Hospital. She taught 4-H and was a member of the VFW Ladies auxiliary.
She leaves behind family she deeply loved and who will truly miss her. Every day with her was a gift. Daughter Linda Lou Nef. Granddaughter Natalie (Bob) Conger Grandsons Benjamin Nef and Jordan Troy (Brandi) Nef Great Granddaughters Taylor Lynn (Kyle) Nelson and Aspyn Jade (Andrew) Sawyer. Great Great Grandchildren Easton, Berkely and Quinn Jade Nelson. Lucy Lynn and Daisy Jade Sawyer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to visit prior to the service from 10:00-10:50 a.m. Interment will follow at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
