Betty Jean Killian

Betty Jean Killian, 78, of Rigby passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at her home. She was born November 19, 1934, in Ririe to Lloyd Killian and Alice Marie Damman Killian. She was raised and attended schools in Poplar, Ririe, and Provo, Utah. She graduated from Rigby High School as valedictorian and continued her education at Idaho Falls Business School. She has lived on the family farm in Annis since November of 1950, and worked as a secretary and bookkeeper at Savings and Loan in Idaho Falls. Betty was an active member of The Jehovah Witness Church in Idaho Falls. She is survived by her brother, Lloyd Killian Jr. of Rigby, and was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Betty will be laid to rest in the Ririe-Shelton cemetery under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
