Beverly Jean Kirkpatrick

Beverly Jean Kirkpatrick, age76, of Rigby, died at her home Saturday, May 24, 2008. Beverly was born December 2, 1931 at Sentinel Butte, North Dakota a daughter to Earl Benton Bird and Norma Lebo Bird. She graduated from Medora DeMores High School in 1949. She married Ted LeRoy Kirkpatrick September 2, 1954 in Medora, North Dakota. She worked on the White Sands Proving Grounds, Swagger Accounting, and Ken Brown Accounting and with her husband owned Paramount Lockers in Rigby and a Meat Business in Salmon. She also worked at the Cedar Park Golf Course near Rigby. She attended the Lutheran Church and Rigby Community Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed music, playing the banjo and fiddles and was a member of the Old Time Fiddlers. She taught her granddaughters to play the fiddle. She enjoyed going to North Dakota for reunions each year. She was a member of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Women’s Posse. She is survived by her husband Ted Kirkpatrick of Rigby, two daughters: Jeryl Lee (Bruce) Krietinger of Idaho City, Idaho, Margo D. (Greg) Smith of Rigby, one son William Gene (Sally) Kirkpatrick of Boise, Idaho, four brothers: Bob (Reta) Bird of Rio Dosa, New Mexico, Jim (Eileen) Bird of Killdear, North Dakota, Richard (Ardis) Bird of Shields, North Dakota, and Gary (Judy) Bird of Roundup, Montana, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the Community Presbyterian Church in Rigby. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday May 30, 2008 in theSentinel Butte Cemetery, Sentinel Butte, North Dakota.
