Beverly White, 87, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, in Rigby.
Beverly was born December 28, 1938, in Kemmerer, Wyoming, to Edna Mae Brown and John Henry Goddard Harris. She graduated from Kemmerer High School in 1957.
Beverly married James Grivet Jr. on May 7, 1958, and had their 3 children. Bev and Jim later divorced. She married Gary L. White on September 28, 1973, where she gained two stepsons. During her career, Beverly worked for the Wyoming Forest Service and as an executive secretary for FMC Corporation in Kemmerer, Wyoming. She finished up her career prior to retirement as Director of Admissions at Fort Morgan Community College in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
Throughout her life, Beverly lived in several communities, including Frontier and Kemmerer, Wyoming; Fort Morgan and Denver, Colorado; Blackfoot, Caldwell, Menan, and Rigby, Idaho.
Beverly was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was involved with the Relief Society. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, attending church, and spending time with her children. She will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the many memories she created throughout her life.
Beverly is survived by her children: daughter Nanette Grivetti; her two sons, James Grivet III and Joe Grivet; her two stepsons, Steven White and Terry White; three daughters-in-law, Melody Grivet, Shari White, and Destiny Grivet; eight grandchildren, Devin Williams, Cierra Moore, James Grivet IV, Ernie Tuttle, Tony Tuttle, Joshua (Melissa) Tuttle, Melody (Brett) Burnham and three step-grandchildren, Tailere White, Korie White, and Julie White; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Beverly was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Mae Brown; her father, John Henry Goddard Harris; her three sisters, Betty Ruth Whitlock, Thirza Jane Harris, and Darlene Howard; and her two brothers, John G. Harris and Milton Harris.
As requested by them both, Beverly will be put to rest with the ashes of her husband Gary L. White who passed on November 14th, 2019, in Caldwell, Idaho.
Beverly and Gary will both be dearly missed by their family, friends, and all the others whose lives they have touched.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby, Idaho. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the chapel.
Interment will follow at Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
