Billy Jenkins

William Gerald (Billy) Jenkins, age 60, of Rigby, passed away at Life Care Center of Idaho Falls, Monday, February 19, 2018. Billy was born December 10, 1957, the son of Gerald and Lettie Jenkins. He was raised in the Rigby area attending schools in Grant and Rigby.  He also attended Developmental Workshop, Joshua A. Smith and Journeys in Rigby and Idaho Falls. Billy enjoyed going to dances, listening to music, leading the music, going out to eat, swimming, bowling, pizza and hamburgers. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He attended S.N.A.P. a primary organization for the disabled and always loved listening to General Conference and attending the temple. Billy is survived by three sisters: Jan (Larry) Harrop of Rigby, JoAnn (Charles) Hubble of Iowa City, Iowa and Christy (Rod) Tieken of Rigby, and three brothers: Dennis (Jill) Jenkins of Utah, Gordon (Jolene) Jenkins of Idaho Falls, and Paul (Rosemary) Jenkins of Rigby. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the LaBelle 4th Ward LDS Chapel 4223 East 528 North, Rigby, Idaho 83442.  The family will visit with friends at the LaBelle 4th Ward LDS Chapel Friday Evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.  Burial will be in the Lewisville Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.  Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.eckersellfuneralhome.comIn lieu of flowers the family would appreciate contributions to Journeys of Idaho Falls, 1930 North Woodruff, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83401.
