Blaine Nile Chase, 52, of Idaho Falls, Idaho died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, in Idaho Falls.
Blaine was born in Rigby, Idaho on August 30, 1950, the son of Nile Frank Chase and Joyce Aeschbacher.
He attended schools in Ririe, Idaho. He was a 1969 graduate of Ririe High School. He participated in football and track while at Ririe High School.
He continued his education in Diesel Mechanics at Pocatello, Idaho. He worked for Stromberg Repair as a diesel mechanic for 30 years. He was a member of the LDS Church.
Blaine raised the best roses in the valley and he liked to hunt and fish.
He is survived by two daughters, Heather Arehart of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Cherokee Chase of Livingston, Montana. A son, Clinton Chase of Idaho Falls, Idaho. A sister, Judy (Bruce) Claxton of Valley Springs, California. Three brothers, Blair (Vivian) Chase of American Falls, Idaho, John Chase of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Ronald (Linda) Chase of Ririe, Idaho. Three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 4, 2003 at the Ririe Stake Center in Ririe, Idaho at 11:30 a.m. The family will meet with friends at the Ririe Stake Center on Friday, July 4, 2003 from 10:00 to 11:15 a.m. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
