Blaine David Oram, 65, of Thornton, Idaho died at his home, Friday June 1, 2007. He was born October 25, 1941 at Thornton, Idaho a son of Dave Verl Oram and Mildred Agnus Smith Oram.
Blaine attended schools in Thornton and Madison High School.
He married Maria Alana Pelton, June 17, 1961 at Roberts, Idaho. He worked for Labor Union #155 as a construction laborer, most recently for Secure Solutions as a security guard. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and riding horses.
He is survived by his wife Maria Alana Oram of Thornton, two sons: Blair D. (Jackie) Oram of Emmett, Idaho, and Clair Oram of Thornton; three daughters: Trudy (Mark) Later of Rigby, Teresa (Michael) Young of Ammon, and LeAnn (Aaron) Hansen of Iona; a brother Clyde (Millie) Oram of Eureka, Nevada, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters: Maggie, Lela, VerlaRae; and one brother Robert.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckersell Funeral Home, Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Jim McGary officiating. The family will visit with friends on Monday June 4, 2007 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. both at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. The family will appreciate contributions.
