Blake Mitchell Landon

Blake Mitchell Landon, 29 of Roberts, Idaho passed away in Menan, Idaho. Blake was born October 5, 1988 in Salmon, Idaho, the son of Michael Jerry Landon and Barbara Jene Lamb.

Blake grew up in Roberts, Idaho and attended schools in Roberts and Rigby. He graduated from Rigby High School. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and participated in The Boy Scouts of America.

He was a crane operator with his father for his family business, Boomers. He liked working with his hands. He was an avid artist and enjoyed woodworking. He enjoyed horse back riding, four wheeling, snow machining, hunting and being in the mountains. He was a horseman and loved animals. He was a hard worker and loved helping everybody.

Blake is survived by his father, Michael Landon of Roberts, Idaho. His mother, Barbara Coleman of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Sister, Chelsie (Cory) Douglass of Rigby, Idaho and brother, Wyatt Landon of Boise, Idaho. His grandparents, Jerry and Yvonne Landon of Roberts, Idaho and Richard and Susan Lamb of Roberts, Idaho. His aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Monday, May 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM in Rigby, Idaho at Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 W. Main Street). The family will meet with friends prior to services at Eckersell’s from 10:30 AM to 12:45 PM. The interment will be in the Grant Central Cemetery.  A Go Fund Me account has been set in Blake’s name.
