Blake Leon Passey

Blake Leon Passey passed away peacefully at the age of 66 in his home in Spanish Fork, UT on Monday May 29, 2023.  He was born March 19, 1957, to Floyd Kay Passey and Melba Joy (Briggs) Passey Jeppsen.  Blake graduated from Rigby High School and participated in school plays, bull riding, team roping, and cow cutting.  He was married to Sharon Lee Hills Long for almost 30 years.  They spent most of their lives together in California where Blake trained and transported racehorses.  From California they moved to Kentucky and then to Utah.

Blake is survived by his brother Darwin Passey, niece ChyAnne (Allen) Rasmussen, nephew Shane and (Carly) Passey, sister-in-law Cherie (Tom) Glon, step siblings Debbie (Steve) Wassom, Peter and (Jean) Jeppsen, Cathy York, Bonnie and (Alan) Olaveson, Susan Fairbourne, Mary and (Brian), Laura Medrano.

Blake is preceded in death by his wife Sharon, his mother Melba, his father Kay, his brother Randy, and step-brother Paul.

Services will be held Saturday June 10, 2023  at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Funeral Home (101 W. Main Street Rigby, ID).  Visitations on Friday June 9th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m.-10:50a.m.  Interment will be held at the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
