Bonnie Lou Briggs

Bonnie Lou Briggs, age 82, of Ririe, died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Good Samaritan Center in Idaho Falls. Bonnie was born February 10, 1928 at Rigby, Idaho a daughter to Les Johnson and Mary Elenore Jones Johnson. She attended Rigby Schools graduating from Rigby High School. She worked at the INL as a telephone operator, at Sutton Potato in Ririe and as a cook at the gas plant for Idaho Pacific in Evanston, Wyoming. She enjoyed playing bridge and golf, shooting pool, canning and gardening. She was a fun loving person that loved children. She is survived by two daughters, Kay Volkema of Aurora, Colorado and Kelly (Kurt) Jackson of Rigby, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Kristy Summers, two sons, Kit Summers and Thayne Champion, one sister Elmina Andersen and brothers Thayne Johnson, Jack Johnson, Elvin Johnson. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
