Brady Blaine White

Brady Blaine White, 61, of Menan, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at his home, after a valiant battle with cancer for 8 years. He was born March 23, 1950, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Blaine White and Maxine Liebert White. He was raised in Plano, attended schools in Sugar City and graduated from Sugar Salem High School. On March 7, 1971, he married the love of his life, Terry Lee Roberts in Elko, Nevada; their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on April 23, 1988. Together they made their home in Menan. Brady worked for Arlis Davies Trucking, Golden Valley, Idahoan Foods and Doug Andrus Trucking. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Elders Quorum Presidency, and as Ward Clerk. He also served on the Menan City Council for 27 years and as Mayor for the last 6 years. He was also a volunteer fire-fighter for Menan for many years. He enjoyed golfing, and fishing and camping with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Terry Lee White, of Menan, daughters, Michelle (Reed) Walker, of Idaho Falls, Jennifer White, of Menan, sons, Eric (Heather) White, of Everett, Washington, Nic (Glenda) White of Menan, his parents, Blaine and Maxine White, of Egin, Idaho, sisters, Patty White, of Boise, Clairann (Shane) Hill, of Driggs, Idaho, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Menan 2nd Ward LDS Chapel. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Friday evening at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
