Brenda Lee Richards, age 35 of Rigby died at her home Sunday, October 21, 2007. She was born November 6, 1971 at Arco a daughter of James Earl Mathews and Margaret Ann Noble Mathews. She attended Terreton Elementary graduating from West Jefferson High School; she continued her education at I.S.U. with a degree as a Medical Secretary. September 20, 1991 she married Troy Richards in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Brenda was an active member of the LDS Church and served in the Primary and Young Women’s organizations. She worked at Beddes Farm Center & John Deere Equipment and briefly at The Prepared Pantry. She enjoyed camping, yard work, helping others and especially enjoyed doing activities with her family. She is survived by her husband, three daughters; Kelsie Ann Richards, Jill Marie Richards, Amber Kate Richards, a son, Brett Troy Richards, all of Rigby, her parents, Margaret Ann Mathews of Rigby and James Earl Mathews of Arco, a sister, Rachelle Mathews of Arco and a grandfather, Ervin E. Mathews of Arco. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Rachelle Richards, a mother-in-law, Renee Richards, two grandmothers, Verna Mathews, Arabell Noble and a grandfather, George Wilkie Noble. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the Rigby 4th Ward Chapel, Bishop Gary Lusk, officiating, the family will visit with friends Wednesday, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Rigby 4th Ward Church and prior to service from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel. Contributions may be made to Bishop Gary Lusk, or Westmark Credit Union in Brenda’s name.
