Brian Jack Pond

Brian Jack Pond passed away Wednesday June 11, 2014 at the home of his Brother, Gary. Brian was born December 29, 1954 to Jack L Pond and Amy L. Pond at Rexburg, ID. He was the second child of five children. He attended School in Blackfoot, Moreland and attended Snake River High School. On December 9, 1972 he married Janis C. Harris of Rexburg, Idaho. They had two children, Jamie and Melissa. They were later divorced. Brian is survived by his parents, sister, Annette Pond, of Spokane, Washington brothers, David L Pond, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Alan F. Pond, of Las Vegas, Nevada and Gary L. Pond, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, his former spouse Janis Maxfield, his children, Jamie B. (Cathy) Maxfield of Tooele, Utah, Melissa (Kris) Eagle, of Ione, California and Andrew W. (Jamie) Vert, of Minot, North Dakota, 12 Grand children and 1Great Grand Son. Brian’s passions were motor cycling, racing and trail riding. He proved himself to be a terrific mechanic that could fix almost anything. He loved outdoor activities; hunting, fishing and camping. Brian had the ability to make friends any where he lived or worked. Memorial Services will be held at the home of Gary L. Pond, 1699 E. 65th North, Idaho Falls, Idaho Monday June 16th at 4 pm. A potluck dinner will be held after the services. Please bring your own chairs and come join with us.
