Brody Garner, age 23, passed away in Rexburg, Sunday, June 29, 2025.
He was born September 5, 2001 in Rexburg, Idaho a son to Travis Garner and Elizabeth Serrano Van Dyke.
He was raised in the Rigby and Pocatello area and graduated from Century High School. He worked at Idahoan Foods, in Lewisville, Challenger Pallet in Idaho Falls, and a group home in Pocatello.
He enjoyed being with family & friends, camping, fishing, riding his bike, playing video games, and being outdoors. He had a caring and gentle soul. He was always there when you needed him. He had a way of making those around him feel appreciated and loved.
He is survived by his parents Travis Garner of Rigby and Elizabeth (Ralph) Van Dyke of Pocatello, three sister, Kinsley Garner and Tatum (Jeremy) Kunz of Pocatello, Payton (Dylon) Story of Star, four brothers, Bobby Garner of Rigby, Kaleb Garner of Pocatello, Brett (Ashlyn) Van Dyke of Blackfoot, and Ralph Van Dyke of Utah and grandparents Camilo Serrano of Terreton, Kevin Crystal of Rigby and Deanna Garner of Rexburg.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Mikaela Garner, his grandparents, Graciela Serrano-Arevalo, Roger Garner, Jeanne Crystal, Jack & Faye Chiles, Willis & Nellis Garner and DeMont & Glenna Crystal.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 West Main Street, Rigby. The family will visit with friends, Saturday July 5, from 11:30 to 12:45 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
