Bruce Neil Thomson

Bruce Neil Thomson, 49, of Logan, Utah, passed away on January 17th, 2013. He was born in Rexburg, Idaho on December 14th, 1963 to Lynn and Mary Lou Thomson. He graduated from Madison High School and Ricks College. He was an Eagle Scout and served a mission for the LDS Church in Bahia Blanca, Argentina. Bruce enjoyed playing piano and guitar, writing music, carving, skiing, writing, rock climbing, building model airplanes, and riding motorcycles. He was the choir accompanist in his LDS church ward. Bruce worked most recently assembling medical testing devices and previously built roller coaster cars and orthodontic appliances. Those who knew him will remember his sense of humor and envision him smiling and making others laugh. Bruce is survived by his parents Lynn and Mary Lou Thomson, brothers David, Larry, and Scott Thomson, sisters Deidre Newman and Sherri Wakefield, and 21 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at the Rexburg Idaho East Stake Center (387 South 4th East). The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to the services at the church. Services will be under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
