C Brent Taylor

C Brent Taylor, 65 of Rigby, died Sunday, November 9, 2008, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born February 26, 1943, in Los Angeles, California to Cleston Fritz Taylor and Marie Bradshaw Taylor. He was raised in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School. He continued his education at The University of Connecticut where he received a Bachelors Degree in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. He served in the National Guard 116th Engineers, and was activated to the Army where he served in the Vietnam War. June 3, 1998, he married Elizabeth Mary Brannan in East Hartford Connecticut. He worked as a plant supervisor for Strohmans Brothers Bread in East Hartford Connecticut, at the Grecian Delight Plant in Chicago, and was a driver for S.L.A.S.H. Brent was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, classical music, and was an avid book reader. He is survived by his mother, Marie Taylor, of Rigby, wife, Elizabeth Taylor, of Rigby, daughters, April (Jose) Abrantes of South Glastonbury, Connecticut, Amy (FrankE) Estes, of Scottsdale, Arizona, Rosemarie Taylor of San Clemente, California, Sisters; Dawna (Alan) Smith of Silverdale, Washington, Jennie Watkins of Tucson, Arizona, a brother, Bryce (Claudia) Taylor of Rigby and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Cleston Fritz Taylor and a brother, Steven Taylor. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 14, 2008 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, the family will visit with friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. that day.
