Carl Edward Linger, 93, of Terreton, died at his home, Wednesday, March 21, 2007.
Carl was born October 29, 1913, at Coltman, Idaho a son of Oscar Warder Linger and Lillie Jane Reger Linger. He attended Level School north of Mud Lake. He married Audrey Smith, September 16, 1940, in Idaho Falls. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He farmed in the Terreton area all of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
He is survived by three daughters: Gail Moore of Terreton, Evelyn Linger of Terreton, Karen (Tom) Robbins of Idaho Falls, ten sons: Carl Edward Jr. of LaBec, California, Richard (Vickie) Linger of Idaho Falls, Dwight (Donna) Linger of Rigby, Reed Linger of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Frank Linger of Idaho Falls, Floyd (Debbie) Linger of Tendoy, Idaho, Jay (Diana) Linger of Idaho Falls, Mark Linger of Idaho Falls, Matt (Nyla) Linger of Terreton, Robert (Sheila) Linger of Terreton, 25 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Audrey in November of 2006,
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Community Church of Mud Lake with Pastor Bryan A. Gomez officiating. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the West Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby
