Carl Allen Pearson

Carl Allen Pearson, 61, of Rigby, Idaho died Monday, January 23, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the LDS Hospital. Carl was born November 29, 1944 in Rugby, Tennessee, the son of Obed Pearson and Lora Hazel Pittman Pearson. He attended schools in Rugby, Tennesee and graduated from Sunbright High School He was a graduate of Cal State Long Beach in Long Beach, California with his Bachelors Degree. Carl married Patricia Ann Faulconer in Las Vegas, Nevada in July of 1971. He was a member of the Baptist Faith. Carl served in the United States Navy. He worked for Long Beach Naval Ship Yard as an electronics foreman and Seal Beach Naval Weapons as Electronics Supervisor in the Calibration Lab. He worked at Disney Land in the security department Carl was an avid target shooter who enjoyed the out of doors, hiking, mountain climbing, camping, fishing, astronomy and reading. He is survived by his wife: Patricia Pearson of Rigby, Idaho. Two sons: Kerry Patrick (Heather) Pearson of West Minster, California, Kelly Christian Land of Buena Park, California. Sisters: Alice Faye (Robert) Crabtree of Rome, Georgia, Lora (Tom) Arledge of Perry, Georgia and Mary Evelyn Underwood of Sunbright, Tennesee. Three grandchildren. Carl was preceded by: his parents, two sons; Keith Allen Pearson and Kevin Christopher Land, a sister; Margaret Reagan and a brother; Billy Don Pearson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 W. Main, Rigby, Idaho) with Pastor Michael Milligan officiating. The family will meet with friends on Thursday prior to services from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
