Carol Anne Ragan, age 69, of Idaho Falls, died at home Sunday, January 28, 2007.
Carol was born August 4, 1937, at Mount Pleasant, Utah a daughter to Gy Carlton Hansen and Ethel Vendora Shepherd Hansen. She attended and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She then attended Brigham Young University. She married Rodney LaMarr Ragan, February 2, 1957 in Idaho Falls. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple February 21, 1958. He worked throughout her life as a legal secretary and for the City of Ammon as Deputy Clerk. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in the Stake and Ward Relief Society Presidencies. She was an avid Genealogist, enjoyed reading, crocheting, learning computers, camping and the mountains.
She is survived by her husband Rodney LaMarr Ragan of Idaho Falls, four daughters: Lori (Marlin) Hansen of Rigby, Barbi (CR) Brunson of Idaho Falls, Cherlyn (Pete McMaster) Ragan-Olsen of Idaho Falls, Carrie (Mike) McCarty of Idaho Falls, two sons: Rodney Mark (Julie) Ragan of Idaho Falls, Zachary (Ronda) Ragan of Erda, Utah, two sisters: Billie (Frank) Wilson of Willard, Utah, Joyce Terry of Ogden, Utah, two brothers: Reese Hansen of Idaho Falls and Merril Hansen of Idaho Falls, 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Ammon 3rd Ward LDS Church, on Avocet Drive in Ammon. Interment will be at the Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
