Carol Eilene Williams, age 80 of Rigby, Idaho died peacefully on March 17, 2024, surrounded by all of her children and many of her grandchildren in Idaho Falls, ID.
Carol was born in Bingham Canyon, Utah on October 28, 1943, to Ira E. Moss and Pearl O. Galloway Moss. She had 2 older brothers, Gary and Ira, 1 older sister, Karen, and one younger brother, Jim. Carol graduated from Jordan High School.
Carol married Robert Hyrum Williams in the Manti Utah temple on November 16, 1962. She was employed as a secretary at various companies but spent most of her time working as a busy mother raising her nine children. She also did the bookkeeping for several businesses that she and her husband Bob worked together. Carol lived in Riverton, Utah, and Rigby, Idaho.
Carol was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in multiple capacities. She especially enjoyed her time with the primary children and was always well-loved by those she worked with. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and cooking.
Carol is survived by her 9 children: Lauri (Steve) Palmer of Rigby, Idaho, Debbi (Ed) Naff of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Alisa (Todd) Smith of Rexburg, Idaho, David (Christina) Williams of Sandy, Utah, Matthew (Katrina) Williams of Evanston, Wyoming, Travis (Heather) Williams of Rigby, Idaho, Justin (Melinda) Williams of Rigby, Idaho, Justicia (Shonn) Stahlecker of Parker,
Colorado and Joshua (Mindy) Williams of Idaho Falls, Idaho. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Carol is preceded in death by her husband Robert H. Williams, her parents, Ira E. Moss and Pearl O. Moss, 3 siblings, her granddaughter Emma Jane Williams, and her grandson Aiden S. Wiliams.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Rigby LDS Stake Center (258 West 1st North, Rigby, ID 83442). A viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 am at the Stake Center. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
