On May 6, 2025 our loving Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Sister and Friend, Carol Jean Wilsey, age 69, of Orlando Florida passed away in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Carol was born in Gary, Indiana on September 26, 1955, to Robert Almerion Wilsey and Eleanore Mae Vogts. She was raised in Southern California, moving to Yucaipa California at age 12. As a child she was close with her sisters and always had many friends. At age 18 she moved to Rexburg, Idaho to attend Ricks College.
Carol worked as a kitchen designer and as a health and nutrition retail manager, but her passion and mission in life was serving and healing others. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest love. After she raised her children in Wyoming, Washington, Iowa and Utah, she enjoyed traveling to be with her sister and her children and grandchildren in Florida, Hawaii, Utah and Idaho.
Carol was a collector of people, not things and she loved genuinely with all of her heart. She was incredibly spiritual and kind and she could find joy in everything. She enjoyed spending time telling stories, talking and laughing with close family and friends.
She is survived by her Sister Janice Phillips (Daryl) of Orlando Florida and by her children, Lynn Lambert (Chris) of Ewa Beach Hawaii, Jim Bennett (Amy) of Everett Washington, Phil Bennett (Juli) of Orem Utah, Jeff Bennett (Anyela) of Layton Utah and Kris Bennett (Serena) of Rigby, Idaho and her 15 Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brothers Stephen Wilsey and John Wilsey and by her sister Beverly Wilsey.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Carol on Saturday, May 24, at 11 am at South Fork Park in Provo, Utah.
