Carolyn Joyce Young

Carolyn Joyce Young, age 70, of Ririe, died Friday, December 09, 2005 at her daughters home in Shelley. Carolyn was born May 29, 1935 in Racine, Wisconsin the daughter of George Freeman Coontz and Ruby Huff Coontz. She attended school in Racine, Wisconsin and graduated from Racine High School. She married Preston Doyle Young September 5, 1965 in North Hollywood, California. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she taught in the primary and nursery. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crafts and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter; Lori Lynn (Scott) Gallup of Shelley, two sons; Phillip Howard (Sandy) Young of Ashton, and John Daniel (Vicki) Young of Ririe, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and two brothers. Memorial services will be held Wednesday December 14, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel 101 W. Main, Rigby.
