Casey James Eddins, 21, of Menan, passed away, Friday, April 29, 2011.
He was born May 14, 1989, in Rexburg, Idaho to Craig John Eddins and Jody Lyn Dorcheus Eddins. He attended Midway Schools in Menan, and Graduated from Rigby High School. He worked in building construction as a roofer.
Casey is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and participated in the Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and auto mechanics; above all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Craig and Jody Eddins of Menan, sisters; McKenzie Thorngren (Austin) of Idaho Falls, Wendy Jo (Matt) Hill, of Jerome, brother; Levi Ace Eddins, of Menan, grandparents; James & Patricia Dorcheus, of Rigby, Shirley & Gene William, of Rexburg, and Ace Eddins, of Monteview.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at the Menan 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, with Bishop Vance Nelson, conducting. The family will receive friends and family from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m., Monday, and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services, both at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little-Butte Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
