Casey Ann Marie Griffith

Casey (Ann Marie) Griffith, age 16, of Ririe, Idaho died Thursday, March 6, 2003, in Lewisville from injuries received in an automobile accident. Casey was born March 16, 1986, in Rexburg, Idaho; a daughter of Jim Brice Griffith and Sherry Lynn Tolley Griffith. She attended schools in Ririe and was a Junior at Ririe High School. In high school she was on the Ririe Drill Team, on the Ririe High School Choir, was a Ririe High School Cheerleader and was on the Ririe Track Team and went to State in the 100 M dash. She played Basketball for the Ririe Middle School. She was a Ririe Jr. Miss Contestant. She worked at Heise as a life guard and at Kelly Canyon and was two times Snowboard champion for the Kelly Games. She was a member of the LDS Church and was a Laurel. She loved dancing, singing and snowboarding. Survivors include; her father Jim Griffith of Ririe, Idaho, Brother, Jimmy (Chrissy) Griffith of Ririe. She was preceded in death by her mother a sister Amy Braaten and her grandparents. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 10, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. in the Ririe LDS Stake Center. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the Stake Center. Burial will be in the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. Services are under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
