Cecelia “Mae” Geisler, 97, of Pocatello, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Elegant Living in Pocatello.
Mae was born April 29, 1919 at Lyman, Idaho a daughter of John Herbert Galbraith and Ida Mae Barber Galbraith. She attended schools in Lyman and Madison County schools.
She married Perry Geisler, on May 4, 1939 in Rexburg, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple August 5, 1940.
She worked as a Beautician and loved the outdoors, hunting, camping, riding horses, and working side by side with her husband.
She is survived by a daughter; Ellen Mae (Ken) Carlson of Pocatello, Idaho, two sons; Lee (Eileen) Geisler of Annis, Idaho and Steven (Deanie) Geisler of Rexburg, a sister LaRue Palmer of Rexburg, 16 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Perry Geisler, a son Larry Geisler, a sister Della Merrill, four brothers, Clinton (Dorothy) Galbraith of Rigby Idaho, LeRoy Galbraith, Darold Galbraith, Garold (Helen) Galbraith of Provo, Utah, and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Menan LDS Stake Center. The family will visit with friends on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Stake Center. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home in Rigby.
