Chad William Pearson

Chad William Pearson, 51 of Poulsbo, Washington, formerly of Lyman and Rexburg, Idaho passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014. He was born November 23, 1962 in Rexburg, Idaho to William “Bill” Alfred Pearson and Beverly Hall Pearson. When Chad was 10 years old, his father passed away from serious illness. Chad spent a lot of time with grandparents Gerald and Beatrice Hall and Lee and Gwen Robison while his mom worked at the bank. In the summer of 1974 Chad and his mom traveled to Europe with his aunt Ruby and Clayne Raybould. In 1980, his mother Bev married Leo K Peterson. Chad graduated from Madison High School in Rexburg in 1981. Bev was seriously ill in 1982 and passed away in Idaho Falls Hospital. Chad met Joy Draper in 1983 while she was attending Ricks College; they were married in April 1984. They later divorced in 1986. Chad worked for Boise Cascade in Rexburg and also worked various construction jobs. He moved to California then Oregon and then to Washington where he owned and operated Chad’s Seafood. Chad was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and camping. He loved his family, friends and dogs and enjoyed running his seafood business.   He is survived by his daughter, Jenni (Josh) Painter, grandson, Braxton Painter of Harriman, Utah, Aunts, Shirley Pique, of Rigby, Joyce Bowles, of Rigby, and Lisa Sutton, of New York. He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandparents. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel, 101 W. Main Street, Rigby. The family will receive friends at 12:15 p.m. prior to services Saturday. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
