Chance Alan Struhs

Chance Alan Struhs, age 15, of Rigby, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. Chance was born, May 26, 2001, in Idaho Falls, Idaho a son to Kenny Carl Struhs and Leslee Parker Struhs. He attended Rigby schools and was currently a Sophomore at Rigby High School. Chance enjoyed hunting, Camo, Big Pickups, BMX at the Rigby Skate Park and Motorbikes. He participated in archery events throughout the Snake River area and was a member of the Upper Snake River Bowman. He was known for his contagious smile. He is survived by: his mother and step father Leslee & Cody Christiansen. His father: Kenny Struhs. Sisters, Kylee (Brody) Hope of Shelley and Brice Struhs of Idaho Falls. Brother, Trey Homer of Idaho Falls. Step sister, Courtney (Dylan) Greenough of Rigby, Step Brother: Caleb Christiansen of Rigby. And Grandfather: Donald Parker of Idaho Falls. Chance was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Dalene Parker and Dorothy Walton; and grandfather, Ken B. Struhs. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Rigby LDS 16th Ward Chapel. (4021 East 300 North, Rigby). The family will meet with friends Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Eckersell Memorial Chapel (101 W. Main Street, Rigby) from 6 to 8:00 PM and again on Monday at the Church from 9:30 to 10:45 AM. Interment will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery.
