Christopher Jason Moss, age 26, of Rigby, Idaho died in an industrial accident on an oil rig, near Pinedale, Wyoming, Monday, February 19, 2007. He was born November 26, 1980 in Bountiful, Utah to Chris Nolan Moss and Susan Gayle Bradford Moss.
Chris attended West High School in Salt Lake City, Utah then later gradated from Bonneville High School in Idaho Falls. He also graduated with an Associated Degree in Applied Science from College of Southern Idaho. He married Natalie Jean Ward July 12, 2003 in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Throughout his life Chris enjoyed the outdoors, activities with family and friends, four wheeling, Dutch oven cooking, mechanic projects on cars, trucks and ATV’s, but his biggest passion was spending quality time with Natalie and Zachary. He is survived by wife, Natalie Jean Ward Moss, of Rigby, his son, Zachary Dean Moss of Rigby, Parents Chris Nolan Moss of Salt Lake City, Utah, Susan Gayle (Rick) Browning of Rigby, Brother Gregory David Moss of Salt Lake City, Utah, Grandparents Marjorie K. Moss of Bountiful, Utah and Judy A. Grove of Hurricane, Utah. He is preceded in death by Grandfather Larry Dean Moss.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. The family will receive friends Friday evening 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. and Saturday for one hour prior to service at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby. Interment will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
