Clara Mattie Noe Talbot

Clara Mattie Noe Talbot, 83, died at her home in Menan on December 30, 2005. Clara was born in 1922 in Edwardsville, Illinois on December 17, to Ralph Edward and Sylvia Mae Troutt Noe. She was raised in Zanesville, Ohio and served in the Women’s Air Corp during World War Two. On October 3, 1948 she married Henry Leon Talbot in Pocatello. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS temple in April 1968. She was a homemaker and the mother of 11 children. Survivors include six sons, Gary (Jeanne) Talbot of Goshen, Randy (Deanna) Talbot of Felt, Brady (Michelle) Talbot, Tim (Jamie) Talbot, and Todd (Esperanza) Talbot all of Moreland, and Marshall (Cynthia) Talbot of Kimberly; five daughters, Sydney Talbot and Elaine (Brent) Gunderson both of Menan, Donna (Lloyd) Bigelow of Rigby, Julie (Bob) Henderson of Ririe, and Kathy (Bruce) Werner of Kuna; one brother Bud (Elsie) Noe of Zanesville, Ohio; 63 grandchildren; and 53 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at the Blackfoot Northwest Stake Center (corner of Moreland and Pioneer roads) with Bishop Michael Blight officiating. The family will meet with friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday January 2, 2006 at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and for one hour prior to the services at the stake center. Burial will follow the services at the Moreland Cemetery with military rites performed by the American Legion Stewart Hoover Post 23.
