Clark Eugene Garner, age 91, of St. Anthony, Idaho, died in St. Anthony, Sunday July 30, 2006. Clark was born September 20, 1914 at Teton, Idaho a son of Burke Leroy and Annie Celestia Clark Garner. He grew up and attended schools in Newdale and Sugar City. He married Bernice Robins in Sparks, Nevada, May 16, 1949. His life’s work was that of a Cowboy working on ranches in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. The family expresses thanks to Spring Creek Manor and Hospice of Eastern Idaho for their care and compassion for the past two years.
He is survived by one son Rick (Kim) Garner of Salem, Idaho, a step son Gary (Karen) Purser of Polson, Montana, a sister Carol (Dale) Miller of Seattle, Washington, and 18 grandchildren.
Clark was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one step daughter and one step son.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at the Kindom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in St. Anthony with Sam Jones officiating.
