Claude Junior Carlyle, age 67, of Idaho Falls, Idaho died Sunday, March 14, 2004 at his home in Idaho Falls.
Claude was born on May 28, 1936 in Ririe, Idaho the son of George Smith Carlyle and Dorothy Myrtle Summers Carlyle. He was raised and attended school in Ririe, Idaho graduating from Ririe High School. Claude married Sandra June Hill on August 13, 1994 at Port Lucie, Florida. He served with the United States Army in France. He was active in the Methodist Church. Claude worked for Bechtel as a procurement manager and retired after 30 years. He had been a member of the Elks Lodge. Claude enjoyed horses, archery, golf, hunting and fishing.

His daughter Susan Jean Carlyle of Pinole, California. His brother Jack Carlyle of Rigby, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church (17th Street and St. Clair) with Pastor Kim Fields officiating. The family will meet with friends on Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at the Eckersell Memorial Chapel from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and prior to the services on Thursday at the church from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Burial will follow the services at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
