Cleo Ben Wilding, age 60, of Shelley, formerly of Monteview, died Sunday, July 17, 2005 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
Cleo was born March 17, 1945 at Rexburg, Idaho a son of Benjiman Rawlins Wilding and Elda Hermina Zweifel. He attended schools in Clark county until his junior year and then attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. He married Sybile Leona Turner November 16, 1966 at Rexburg, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple December 18, 1982. He was an Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked at Reno Point by birch creek as a farmer and rancher. He enjoyed ice fishing, fly fishing, hunting, camping, horses, gardening, country music and spending time with his family.
Survivors include: his wife Sybile Leona Wilding of Shelley, 3 daughters: Penny Lee (John) Grover of Salmon, Idaho, Brenda Ann Ward of Salmon, Idaho, Terry L. (Gary) Roberts of American Falls, Idaho, 2 sons: Sidney Ben Wilding of Monteview, Idaho and Rodney Cleo Wilding of Ammon, Idaho, 2 sisters: Delores (Spence) Stoddard of Dillon, Montana, and Fay Book of Nampa, Idaho, 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a granddaughter Kaylee Grover.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Monteview LDS Church with Bishop Wade Stoneberg officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. in the Monteview LDS Church. Burial will be in the West Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Mud Lake. Condolences to the famly may be made through eckersellfuneralhome.com
